Chameli Devi Durga Prasad Girls Degree College established in 1996,is dedicated to educating and uplifting the girls in general and rural female folk in particular;with mission: "Education to equip our student for playing a meaningful role at home workplace and in society with emphasis on their employablity."

This college is situated in Village Sonda,at the bank of upper Ganga Canal,about 5km from Modinagar and Muradnagar as well as Patla.The management and teachers of this college are dedicated for providing high quality education at village site. The college is named after the parents of, Founder of Kanohar Lal Trust Society-Seth Kanohar Lal Ji ;who devoted all his life and invested his entire asset in opening institutions for education girls and today we have eight institution's,in which more than six thousand five hundred girl's are studying,Chameli Devi Durga Prasad Girls Degree College at Sonda is imparting higher education (B.A.,B.Ed and N.T.T).

We have got 10043 sq.mt. land and huge building consisting of ten classromms,two staffromms,well equipped laboratories for Home Science(with Centralized gas connection),Computer(with Internet Facility),Drawing and Painting and Music;big furnished Seminar Hall with Audio-Video facilities& well maintained Libirary.

All teachers are well qualifies and sincere.We are running English Proficiency Club,Computer Club,N.S.S and Scout and Guide Camps.We are helping student in getting job and becoming self employed through our Career Counseling and Placement Cell.Affilation for Postgraduate classess is under process.
